Claim Information

The first thing you need to do after an accident is to report it within 5 calendar days to Malacca Trust Insurance. Our priority is to find the best solution for you.

Total Loss Only (TLO) Claim Procedure

How to claim car insurance when you lost your car or your car is 75% broken?

  1. You will need to report it to the nearest police station to get a police report.
  2. Call Malacca Care Center at +6221 25 9898 35.
  3. Malacca Care Center will schedule an appointment for a Third Party Surveyor from Malacca Trust Insurance to survey and to examine the existing condition.
  4. The surveyor will then contact you to make an appointment to do the survey.
  5. The surveyor will come to the agreed place and time for the survey. The surveyor will then fill in the total loss report and complete the other supporting documents such as the claim form, copy of the vehicle registration (STNK), copy of the driver's license (SIM), and copy of the policy.
  6. If you lost your car, police will search the insured car within 60 days only.
  7. If your claim is approved and meets all the requirement, Malacca Trust Insurance will process it within 30 days.
  8. Malacca Trust Insurance will then create an agreement related to the amount of cost that will be replaced.

Comprehensive Claim Procedure

  1. You will need to call Malacca Care Center at +6221 25 9898 35.
  2. Malacca Care Center will schedule an appointment for a Third Party Surveyor from Malacca Trust Insurance to survey and to examine the existing condition.
  3. The surveyor will come to the agreed place and time for the survey. The surveyor will then fill in the loss report and complete the other supporting documents such as the claim form, copy of the vehicle registration (STNK), copy of the driver's license (SIM), and copy of the policy.
  4. Surveyor will issue a demand letter with the needed information and will then bring it to the workshop to get an estimation letter.
  5. The staff from the workshop will survey how much damage the car has, take pictures, and will then estimate the total cost needed for fixing it.
  6. The cost estimation will then be sent to Malacca Trust Insurance.
  7. Malacca Trust Insurance will then issue a work order letter to the workshop to proceed.

All Risk (Comprehensive) Claim Procedure

  1. First, you (the Customer / insured) will contact the insurer through Malacca Care Center (MCC) at +6221 25 9898 35.
  2. Surveyor will then make an appointment with the customer.
  3. After meeting the surveyor, client will fill out the loss report and other supporting documents.
  4. Surveyor will issue a demand letter with the estimated cost to fix the car.
  5. The customer will then bring the letter as proof to the workshop that the car have been surveyed.
  6. The workshop will do re-survey the car and take pictures. They will also estimate the lead time and inform it to the insurer.
  7. Malacca Trust Insurance will then issue a work order letter to the workshop to proceed

Supporting Documents Needed for All Risk (Comprehensive) Claim

  1. Report of accident, including chronology
  2. Fotocopy of the following:
  • Policy, certificate, attachment.
  • Driver's license belonging to the driver at the time of the incident.
  • Vehicle's registration.
  • Identity card of the insured
